Chambers shall be located at the head of each pipe run, at each pipe junction, at changes of pipe diameter or gradient, at changes of pipe direction, where changes in the rate of ground settlement will occur and where the pipe run exceeds 100 m. The surface water drainage network shall accommodate the ground settlement that may occur during the design life of the Works.
